Ms. Htet Eaindra Hlaing (22 years)
Firstly I want to say thank ECLOF. I was told that my pregnancy would be very difficult to give birth in my village. So I went to Seik Phyu Hospital, then I was hospitalized and surgically delivered. The day before the surgery, the nurse instructed and gave me a list to buy necessary things like medicine for child delivery. I felt worried and anxious when I saw the list because I had not enough money. I came to hospital only because my condition was difficult to give natural child birth at my home. If I bought all things on the list, I had no money left for other expenses. I was miserable and I didn’t even have strength for child delivery.
Then, I heard there was one organization, ECLOF, that support mother and newly born infant, so I contacted them. The staffs from ECLOF came immediately with support. Because of the support, the expenses for the list reduced half. I felt relieved. The blanket and sheet I received for the baby were clean, new and way better than blanket and sheet that I brought from the village. On the other hand, it helps our baby’s health.
